The guilty pleasure?

LeVert – ‘Casanova’. I have a weak spot for late 80s R&B.

The worst record you’ve ever heard?

80-90% of the Beatport overall top 10 for the last year, with a few exceptions.

The future classic?

Pretty much anything by Andhim. These guys are one of the most exciting acts in dance music and the fact that they are not a household name is astonishing. Cannot say enough about them!

The best record for a family party?

I think this depends on your family and its inner dynamics, but since most families are psychotic at their core I’ll go with Slayer’s Seasons In The Abyss. If we had to pick a single track, ‘War Ensemble’ – isn’t that what family gatherings eventually turn into anyway?

The soundtrack to a lazy Sunday afternoon?

The Naked And Famous. The entire new album, In Rolling Waves. Too many incredible songs to pick just one so here are three: ‘In Rolling Waves’, ‘I Kill Giants’ and ‘What We Want’. I think this is the best album of 2014 by far.

  • I also have to agree on that. Hot Since 82 has a bunch of nice tracks. My personal favorite being Forty Shorty. But this track of his is plain boring. I liked better also his work before all the mainstream shit.
