Keep up with all of the best Black Friday hardware deals 2025 with this constantly-updating list of music gear bargains.

Another year, another Black Friday. Typically, the day when American retail stores would offer discounts to entice people off the couch the day after Thanksgiving, it’s now become a worldwide sell-a-thon that seems to get longer and longer every year. We could lament the loss of tradition to the ever-rising tide of late-stage capitalism, or we could enjoy it for what it is: a chance to get some great deals on gear.

This year, we’ve got a few rolling lists of Black Friday deals going, including this one for the best hardware deals. Some of these bargains will continue through until December, so check back to see what else pops up as we find it. Synthesisers, drum machines, MIDI controllers – if it’s a solid discount on a solid product, it’ll end up here. Although that being said, hardware deals aren’t as long-lasting as software ones. If you see something that looks good, you should snap it up right away. It could be gone within the week.

Pittsburgh Modular Taiga Keyboard – $300 Off + Free Boom Chick

Unless you’re a serious synth nerd with modular predilections, you may not be as familiar with Pittsburgh Modular as some of the other big synth names like Moog. That’s a shame, as Pittsburgh Modular has been doing a lot to advance analogue synthesis, particularly when it comes to blending East Coast synthesis (the kind that Bob Moog invented and that we’re generally familiar with) with Don Buchla-style West Coast synthesis. Case in point: the Taiga Keyboard, which is currently a whopping $300 off the original price.

A Taiga with a keyboard and 24HP Modular Expansion Bay, this semi-modular beauty gives you three oscillators with intergrading sine, sawtooth and square waveforms, a six-stage wavefolder for West Coast-style harmonics, Pittsburgh Modular’s gorgeous multimode filter, a dynamics section with a Buchla-inspired lowpass gate, LFOs and envelopes, a bucket brigade delay, and 64 patch points for extending the synthesis options.

Update! Buy Taiga Keyboard right now from Pittsburgh Modular and get Boom Chick, the analog drum machine from Cre8audio for free. The deal also applies to Voltage Lab 2.

Expressive E Osmose – 30% Off

Attack Mag - News - Feat Images osmose 61

Expressive E’s Osmose is a real game-changer instrument. With its multiple forms of expression and MPE prowess, it’s a joy to play. It sounds pretty amazing, too. As you might expect, though, all that power comes at a price. If you’ve been trying to justify spending the money, now is the time.

Expressive E has announced a sale on refurbished Osmose units, both the 49- and newly released 61-key versions. Refurbished by Expressive E itself, the price includes all accessories. The 49-key version is available for €1259 down from €1799, while the 61-key model is no longer €1999 but only €1399. The company is also offering bundles with the instrument and software.

Polyend Press – Free

Free hardware! It’s common to see free software on Black Friday, but hardware gratis is rare indeed. Polyend is giving away its compressor pedal Press for absolutely no charge when you buy any two devices from the Polyend site between now and December 1. That’s a $399 compressor for nothing.

Pedal compressors are getting more popular for use with synths and drum machines, and Press is right in line for that. Fully analog, it’s got a variable ratio from 2:1 up to limiting, parallel compression, a tilt EQ, and internal and external sidechain. It sounds great, too. And it’s free!

Use the code FREEPRESS at checkout to get the discount.

Moog Spectravox – 53% Off

It’s not often that Moog gear goes on sale like this. Right now, Spectravox is on sale for more than 50% off. That’s a crazy amount. Granted, Spectravox isn’t the most versatile of Moog products. It’s a quirky analog vocoder and spectral processor, which you may or may not have need for. However, although it may be unusual, it’s still definitely cool, and being a Moog product, it sounds great.

What do you get? It’s semi-modular in the same format as the Mother-32 and Moog’s other Eurorack-ready devices. There’s a dynamic 10-band filter bank, a VCO and white noise generator, and envelope and LFO. You can process with it and generate sound with it. It’s wild and unique, and at this price, you may as well buy one and then figure out how you’ll use it later.

ASM Hydrasynth Keyboard Silver Edition – 40% Off

ASM Hydrasynth is one of the best synthesizers to come down the pipeline in the last five years. Well, series of synths is more like it, as there are now four versions to choose from: the original (now called Hydrasynth Keyboard), the Desktop model (which we reviewed back when it came out), the affordable Explorer, and the big Deluxe. ASM has also released a few limited edition versions along the way, which brings us to this Black Friday deal at Thomann.

This is the Silver Edition of the Hydrasynth Explorer, released to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the synth. It’s identical in every way to the normal version, just with a fetching sci-fi silver paint job, custom side panels, and an exclusive custom patch bank. The Silver Edition is limited to 200 units worldwide, making it a collector’s piece, and hence the usual high price. But right now it’s 40% off, bringing the price down from £1777 to £1079. I’ll save you the trouble of looking: it’s actually cheaper than the normal version right now, which is sitting at £1166. Win-win.

Ableton Push 3 – 20% Off

Push 3 Ableton

Ableton Live 12.3 is coming on November 25, with stem separation and Splice integration baked right in. If you’ve been looking to add a Push to your arsenal to take advantage of all that the DAW has to offer, Ableton is here to tell you that now is the time, with 20% off both standalone and connected editions.

Push (standalone) gives you those 64 expressive pads, a built-in audio interface, a lithium battery with 2.5 hours of play time, and 256GB SSD hard drive, plus recent upgrades like the XYZ layout, which turns Push’s pads into a single tactile surface, and Rhythm Generator. It’s on sale now for £1039 down from £1299.

If you’re comfortable using your Push with a computer, you can get the connected version, which keeps the audio interface but does away with the processor, battery and hard drive. It’s usually £879 but is now £703.

Korg Nautilus 88 – $1100 Off

Reverb today announced its Black Friday sales, and it’s well worth looking through its sub-site, as there are literally hundreds of thousands of pieces of discounted gear on offer.

One that caught our eye just for the sheer price drop was this Nautilus 88 from Korg. Yes, it’s pre-owned, which means that it’s not brand new, but it is certified by Korg. And get this: the price is $1100 off, down from $2499.99 to a very reasonable $1399.99.

If you’re unfamiliar, Nautilus is Korg’s flagship workstation, and it’s packed to the gills with sound engines, expansions, sound libraries, and effects. Think of it as a fully-stocked DAW in keyboard form. And, as this is the 88-key version, you’ll get that piano experience without the need for a big piece of furniture in the house. A workstation isn’t for everyone, but if it’s for you, this is the time to buy.

Native Instruments Maschine+ Bundle – $200 Off

Akai Professional may have been stealing the spotlight lately with MPC Live III, but not everyone is down with the hip-hop music production device. Some of us prefer Maschine, Native Instruments’ alternative to the Akai MPCverse. Now is a great time to become part of the man-maschine, with up to $200 off Maschine plus a nice little bundle.

Both Maschine MK3 and Maschine+ are on sale now, with the standalone Maschine+ giving you the biggest discount of around $200. Both come pre-loaded with the Maschine 3.4 OS, which adds a modulation editor and workflow refinements. You also get a nice selection of Brainworx mixing plugins, including AMEK EQ 250, bx_limiter True Peak, bx_boom V3, bx_refinement V3 and bx_opto, plus your choice of a free Expansion bundle from a list of four genres.

Maschine models are on sale through January 15, so you could even hold out until after that holiday gift money comes through.

Melbourne Instruments Delia – Almost 50% Off

Shut the front door. There’s no way that Melbourne Instruments’ Delia, one of the best hybrid synthesizers on the market today, is going for almost 50% off. But it is. Thomann has it for £1244, or 46% off the usual price. This. Is. Unbelievable.

So why all the hyperbole? Delia is a six-voice polyphonic synthesizer with four digital oscillators per voice, including virtual analogue, wavetable, and more; an analogue Ladder lowpass filter with both 2-pole and 4-pole slopes; a VA highpass filter; three LFOs and three envelopes; a mod matrix, stereo effects, and more. And it has those incredibly cool motorised knobs based on drone motor technology. Seriously. It’s bananas.

Of course, all of this wouldn’t mean anything if Delia didn’t sound the business, but it does. This is such a good deal. Don’t sleep on it.

Behringer DeepMind 6X – 25% Off

Behringer’s DeepMind instruments are the ones that kicked off the company’s synth world takeover. Inspired by the Juno-106 (although not strictly a clone), they’re highly regarded for their sound quality – and the onboard TC Electronic and Klark Teknik effects don’t hurt either.

DeepMind 6X is the six-voice version, with the X designating that it’s one of the newer models with the Juno-like livery. Although the effects at the end of the signal chain are digital, the dual oscillators and filters are definitely analogue, with that Juno sound that electronic producers love so much. Unlike the original 106, though, this synth has two oscillators, meaning it’s capable of fatter sounds than the original. There’s also a mod matrix, sequencer and arpeggiator, and those effects, which can really transform the sound.

Honestly, if you only ever buy one Behringer synth, this is probably the one to get. The fact that it’s 25% off for Black Friday at Thomann makes it a no-brainer.

Erica Synths Bullfrog – $100 Off

A mini modular synth, Bullfrog was designed by Erica Synths in collaboration with Richie Hawtin. Although it’s a fully functioning instrument, the designers envisioned it being used in an educational environment, hence the big colorful knobs and onboard speaker. There’s even an oversized version for the teacher to hang on the wall!

With the Bullfrog, you get a single VCO with pulse-width modulation and FM, a lowpass filter, two envelopes with loop modes, a delay, plenty of patch points for connecting the ‘modules’, and more. There’s also a unique voice card, with six included in the package: sequencer, acid bassline, sampler/looper, and three blank ones for programming.

You don’t have to be a student to want a Bullfrog, even if Richie Hawtin’s hairstyle hasn’t changed since you were one.

Korg multi/poly – $100 Off

Korg’s been on a tear with its range of digital hardware synths. Our favourite of the bunch is the multi/poly, a quadruple-layer virtual analogue synth with Kaoss Physics and a whole lot more. It’s also on sale for a great price, making it one of the best hardware deals of the year.

If you’re at all familiar with multi/poly native, then you’ll instantly understand multi/poly, as it’s the exact same instrument, just plus the hardware housing. More than just a VST in a box, though, the physical multi/poly gives you that tactile Kaoss Pad that you need to properly operate the Kaoss Physics modulation functionality, one of the stand-out features of the instrument’s architecture.

If you’ve been on the lookout for a solid VA hardware synth, this Korg is one of the best on the market. We certainly wouldn’t mind seeing one under our Christmas tree.

Gamechanger Audio Motor Synth MkII – $200 Off

Most synths are either analogue or digital. Not this one. Gamechanger Audio’s Motor Synth MKII, as the name suggests, uses motors as oscillators, making it electro-mechanical. With eight proprietary spinning motors to help generate sound (they actually spin optical discs read by lasers to create your usual analog-style waveforms), it’s not a cheap synth to make, hence its relatively high price. But it’s currently on sale for $400 off for Black Friday. Get your motors running.

The four-voice polyphonic instrument gives you two voices of drone motor waveshapes (sine, saw, square, and an electromagnetic inductive wave), an additional VA DCO, multimode analog filters, unique acceleration and brake settings for electro-mechanical pitch envelopes, and a lot more besides. It’s a very unique instrument that sounds and behaves like nothing else really on the market.

Note that the sale model advertised is an open-box unit.
