Waves have launched three plugin subscription plans, Silver, Gold and Platinum bundles ranging from $6.99 to $19.99 a month.
Dubbed The Waves Music Maker Access, users have the option of monthly or yearly payments for any of the available plans.
At a glance, Waves are introducing:
- The Silver Bundle: 16 plugins – $6.99 monthly or $69.99 annually
- The Gold Bundle: 42 plugins – $9.99 monthly or $99.99 annually
- The Platinum Bundle: 57 plugins – $19.99 monthly or $199 annually
Subscribers to the Gold or Platinum Bundles can also sign up for a “Custom 5-Pack.” This would let you choose five more plugins to add to your subscription for an additional $7.99 a month or $79.99 a year.
Each bundle includes a free one-month trial, unlimited plugin updates, all-access to Waves’ customer service and the freedom to cancel anytime.
There has been a growing trend towards subscription models over the last few years and Waves have the catalogue, heritage and user base to make a genuine splash. It’s a bold move from Waves where many users have become accustomed to waiting for plugin promotions often at a significant discount.
