Beatport has announced Beatport Studio, a production membership consolidating various aspects of their growing producer ecosystem.

When Beatport acquired Plugin Boutique / Loopmasters, it was clear Beatport was starting a more extensive play in the producer sphere. Today, Beatport has unveiled its most significant move to date, consolidating the various verticals into a new production membership.

Beatport Studio merges a diverse array of creative instruments and effects from the Plugin Boutique catalogue, the vast sample libraries from Loopmasters, and Loopcloud to bring you an all-in-one service—everything is under one roof.

Members can make selections and rotate their choices every 30 days – the idea being to encourage experimentation with different devices, sounds and genres. The data from their research suggests Beatport’s community, mainly DJs, are overwhelmingly producers, too.

“Beatport Studio marks a significant milestone in our commitment to empowering music producers worldwide,” said Robb McDaniels, CEO of The Beatport Group. “We’ve harnessed the collective creative strength of Beatport’s Producer Group to deliver an integrated production marketplace that reflects our dedication to innovation and flexibility to ensure our users are at the forefront of shaping the sonic landscape.”

Beatport Studio is launching with a reputable lineup of plugin developers, including but not limited to:

One of the more exciting user-friendly features is for users switching plugins during an ongoing project. There is built-in ‘Frozen State’ technology that allows rotated plugins to continue functioning seamlessly within a project.

Gareth Halsall, VP of Beatport’s Producer Group commented: “It’s an exciting time for music producers. We’re proud to bring a new dimension to the industry by combining flexibility and choice, ultimately enriching the creative experience for our users. Beatport Studio is more than a membership; it’s a gateway to a vast world of sound, right at your fingertips.”

Beatport Studio sits inside your DAW, and you can expand the collection daily. Furthermore, Beatport Studio additionally offers access to two digital audio workstations – Bitwig Studio 8-Track and Cubase LE.
