Ableton Loop has confirmed a new event, Loop Create, will take place online on June 26-27th. The event is free to attend for anyone who registers.

With the COVID-19 pandemic still keeping us at home, many events are re-thinking the approach in line with the restrictions. Ableton Loop, has confirmed their new event, Loop Create will take place online across June 26th-27th.

The virtual event, which is free to attend, will be hosted on a dedicated microsite for Loop events. It kicks off at 10 am (BST) on 26 June. Registration opens a month before the event, on 26 May and each of the sessions will then be repeated so that attendees can join at their convenience.

Attendees can expect to gain new insights and techniques to use in their own music-making process, try out new ideas, and share the results with a community of creators from all over the world in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Despite being online, Loop Create will follow a similar pattern with past Loop events. The program will include a variety of sessions in various formats and opportunities for attendees to meet fellow music makers in facilitated conversations.

Sessions will be hosted by a lineup of artists, musicians, technologists and educators, invited to share their individual insights and methods. Past events have featured the likes of Simon Reynolds, Kelela, Richard Devine and Equiknoxx.

Loop Create marks the beginning of a new chapter for Loop. The Loop experience of previous years is being reshaped and developed into new events, taking place online, in-person, and a combination of the two.
