Mumdance Live at Sónar Reykjavik 2016. A recording of cutting-edge experimental grime producer Mumdance, of Different Circles Records, at Sónar Reykjavik 2016’s RBMA stage. The mix “focused on minimalism and space, while the live aspect nodded towards musique concrète with noise/drone reprises using a modular synth.” Stream here.
Grime legends Wiley and Slimzee reunited on Rinse. Two underground UK dance music institutions, Slimzee and Wiley, together in the Rinse FM studio like it’s 2002 again. Slimzee mans the decks for a two-hour set, with Wiley taking to the mic for the second half. Stream and download above.
