SFX Announces Plans to Auction Beatport. Following its filing for bankruptcy and the removal of CEO and founder Robert Sillerman last month, EDM corporation SFX Entertainment has announced plans to put the digital download platform Beatport, which it purchased in 2013 for $50 million, up for auction in May.
