This week’s mixes include Mozhgan and Pedro Vian for Dekmantel, Phase Fatal for iN and Marino Canal for Deep House Amsterdam.
Phase Fatal for iN. Contributing the latest podcast for Azerbaijan’s iN is Berghain resident and Ostgut Ton regular Phase Fatale. Recorded live when he played in Baku a few months back, Phase Fatale provides us with a gripping 90 minutes of techno chock-full of minor chord workouts, electro bleeps and noisy atmospherics.
Mozhgan and Pedro Vian for Dekmantel. This weeks Dekmantel show on Redlight Radio is brought to you by Mozhgan & Pedro Vian. The first hour has Mozghan in the mix, as she keeps things downtempo, laying down trippy beats laced with 80s synths. Whilst Pedro Vian takes over for hour 2, the Modern Obscure artist adds a dose of disco, balearic and old school breakbeats to proceedings.
Marino Canal for Deep House Amsterdam. Marino Canal provides the new incarnation of Deep House Amsterdam’s mix series. Having enjoyed releases on Siamese, Mood and Afterlife the last 12 months, Marino Canal demonstrates here he’s also a dab hand behind the ones and twos, with a melodic house and techno selection that blends as seamlessly as it builds.
Coco Maria for Worldwide. Recorded live at Worldwide Festival back in June, the Mexican born and Berlin bred Coco Maria spins a set of cumbia, jazz and rare groove. A welcome ray of sunshine for us struggling to come to terms with the ending of summer and festival season.
Nandu for Muting The Noise. Berlin record shop Muting The Noise invite Copenhagen’s Nandu for a spin for their new podcast. Celebrating his just released EP on Scatcity, Nandu delivers a mix of deep, melodic and at times disco and electro tinged house music.
