The best record for a family party?

Michael Jackson – ‘Billie Jean’. Everybody knows it, everybody likes it and it is basically great music. It was part of the album Thriller that used to be the most successful record ever released for a long time, produced by the brilliant Quincy Jones.

The soundtrack to a lazy Sunday afternoon?

Angus Stone – ‘Broken Brights’. Singer-songwriter stuff. I like his and his sister Julia’s music. For the moments when you need a break from electronic music.

The worst record you’ve ever heard?

Almost everything EDM.

The record you’re proudest of?

Marlow feat. Delhia – ‘Movin (Matthias Tanzmann Remix)’ – from Moon Harbour Recordings. This remix got a lot of attention back then and was played many times at the DC10 terrace in 2006. I later found out this was one of the reasons the Circoloco guys asked me to play for them for the first time on New Year’s Day 2007.

Matthias Tanzmann will be appearing at Extrema Festival, Belgium this weekend. More info here. Find Matthias on Facebook, Twitter and SoundCloud.
