The record you’re proudest of?

I’m proud of all of them in different ways but I think it’s a close tie between this new Waikiki thing and my RA podcast. This Waikiki EP is something I’ve been working on for a while and it kinda represents both sides of where I am right now with my writing. It still has my slow, emotional bits to it but also some new trippy more main room stuff that I’m really enjoying writing. Waikiki as an EP and as a moment kinda signifies a massive change in who I am as a person and as an artist. Wait for part two!

The last track of the night?

Depends on the club and night but anything by either Kate Bush or Kuba Sojka usually does the trick.

The best chillout record?

Rhye – ‘Verse’.

The soundtrack to a lazy Sunday afternoon?

Any of the Petit Radio selections on SoundCloud or Despology Mix 1 of 8.

Jozif’s Waikiki EP is out now on Culprit Records. Find him on Facebook and SoundCloud.
