Who are you?
Some French guy from the Alps who likes to spend hours in the studio creating and listening to music. I like to make people’s feet move too.
What do you sound like?
My sound resembles something similar to what a cave man would produce when using production equipment for the first time, if he ever figured out how to use it. Tropical madness.
Why should we listen to you?

What have you released so far? What else have you got coming out in the near future?
I’ve released a bunch of remixes in the past year, including an official remix for Foals’ record entitled ‘Out Of The Woods’. I recently released an all original two track EP called Forgot About Kul.
I’m working on A LOT of new records and I’m really excited to release everything in due time. At the moment, I have enough material for about two albums although it’s more likely I will spread them around as singles and EPs. Keep your eyes peeled on my social media to be the first to hear all this great music as it gets released!
What song sums you up? Why?
I think my original tune ‘U Were The One’ sums me up pretty well. Low-pitched vocals, deep ambient moments, dense dancing drops and exotic synths is my idea of Kul House. This particular tune sounds similar to Jamie xx’s ‘Far Nearer’ on steroids.
What or who is your biggest influence and why?
Most definitely my mom and dad. They literally built me and my musical tastes. Four Tet, Jamie xx, MONO, and Aphex Twin influence my work quite a bit as well. I love ambient, natural/organic sounds and majestic harmonies, similar to those artists.

Where will you be in five years’ time?
Unfortunately I can’t plan what the future holds. Since the inception of the project, I could never imagine I would be where I am today in just one short year. Ideally I’d like to be signed to some big label, very family-like, touring the world more than I am now and playing live shows. Perhaps I’ll even make a move to Paris. Or maybe LA?
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself.
I can dislocate my jaw when I want. I also drink something like a litre or more of jasmine tea every day.
