“Organic, emotive elements combined with electronic and abstract structures.” The Dutch duo of Eversines and Queniv introduce their music.
Who are you?
We think our music tells you more about us than anything we could write down. However, Deltitnu is a collaboration project between Eversines and Queniv, two DJs and producers based in the Netherlands.
We’ve formed Deltitnu in conjunction with the record label we started, called Native Response.
What do you sound like?
We always try to find the right balance between organic, emotive elements, combined with electronic and abstract structures. We also try to capture a sense of discovery and playfulness in the process. This combination symbolises our current response to everything.
Why should we listen to you?
You actually don’t have to… but you might discover something when you do.
What have you released so far? What else have you got coming out in the near future?
The second EP on Native Response, titled Shaman Among The Machines, is our debut release for the Deltitnu project, although we’ve done numerous releases before individually. Concerning the future, we have loads of material but it has not found its place yet.
What song sums you up? Why?
It’s actually two songs. But you have to play them simultaneously.
Why? Eternal bliss.
What or who is your biggest influence and why?
Most of all the community of our friends who also produce music. We went to this electronic music production academy, where we met each other and a lot of other likeminded guys. At that time everybody developed their own style, while still influencing each other a lot. This is also where the label Native Response originates from.
Where can we hear your music?
Where will you be in five years’ time?
Tomorrow never knows. But we’re just as curious as you are. Are you curious?
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself.
We were both born too early. Apparently, the world really needed our music.
Deltitnu’s Shaman Among The Machines EP is out now via their own own Native Response label. Find them on SoundCloud.
