I was convinced very early about the quality of TC Electronic’s units. The Fireworx, with its ability to create effect chains and modulation options, is especially worth checking out. Also the D­Two Multitap Delay is a good option for getting unusual delays for a good price.

These speakers are maybe the oldest part of my setup. I really love the detailed sound of them. They are not available anymore, because they got replaced by the 8030A in 2005.

A friend convinced me to use the HD600 for producing music and I never regretted following this advice. You get a very detailed sound and even with high levels everything sounds very clear.

The Virus was my first hardware synth. Some years later I sold it and then bought one again. To be honest, synths are not my main source for generating sounds, but I love the Virus.

Sampling was always very important for my music, and I almost have a religious connection with the E-mu. The filters are fantastic and they provided so much in the EOS software. Moreover, I always loved the modulation matrix of this flagship sampler.

Vinyl is still telling stories about your life. It’s nice to go through all the records, inspiring and also a good reminder of your own history. You can’t compare to any hard disk or even worse, online streaming resources like Spotify…
