The fifth episode in Attack Magazine’s Quick Mix YouTube series is out now featuring the legendary Alan Fitzpatrick. The “We Do What We Want” producer/DJ consistently releases belters and his summer track, “Warning Signs”, continues his rich vein of form. Does his off-stage persona match? We put him in the Quick Mix hot seat to find out.
What is Quick Mix?
Quick Mix is a new series on Attack Magazine’s YouTube channel. Borne out of our interviews in the QnA series, we’ve decided to take the format and redesign it for video.
In Episode 5, we put to task industry stalwart Alan Fitzpatrick who requires little introduction. Alan has developed into one of dance music’s most versatile producers, equally at home putting out techno bangers on Drumcode as he is making disco-infused house anthems, or experimental electronica under his 3STRANGE alias, not to mention his impressive range of collaborations (including CamelPhat, Skream and Jamie Jones).
Alan has also now joined forces with the acclaimed UK label Anjunadeep for his most ambitious release to date, and his first album in ten years “Machine Therapy” out this November 12th.
