Last year, Novation encouraged us to start something. Now they want us to finish…

Back in September last year, Novation preceded the release of their excellent Circuit groovebox by encouraging electronic musicians to “start something”. Artists including Goldie, Nick Hook and Gorgon City spoke about how they kickstart their creative process, whether it’s the same technique each time or a question of finding ways to keep things fresh and interesting.

This new video from the British brand is the logical follow-up to that campaign. In Finish Something, the likes of Floating Points, MJ Cole and Om Unit discuss the later stages of their process. How do you convert those raw ideas into a finished track? Can you really even say that a track is ever truly ‘finished’? As Om Unit puts it: “Nothing is ever perfect…”
