Introducing Korg Volca FM, Ableton Loop to return in November, and tributes paid to Prince.

Introducing Korg Volca FM. The latest edition in Korg‘s Volca series is a three-voice digital synth, reproducing classic FM sound engines, and featuring a 16-step sequencer with pattern chaining, making it easy to manipulate distinctive FM sounds. See designer Tatsuya Takahashi introduce it in the video above.

Snookerstar DJ Steve Davis. A mini documentary from BBC Music marking this year’s Record Store Day follows snooker legend Steve Davis swapping snooker balls for decks, as he meets techno artists and fans during the build up to his set DJing at Bloc Festival earlier this year. Watch it here.
