Ableton announce Loop artists, Arturia announce DrumBrute Impact and Hackney Council announce more restrictions. 

In the loop. Ableton have offered a first glimpse of the artists involved at this year’s Loop summit. Unlike previous meetings, Loop is held in Los Angeles this year. Impactful. Arturia have announced the latest addition to the Brute analog hardware family: DrumBrute Impact. It comes with ten sounds, a unique “Color” layer and output distortion. Watch their release video below.

21 and counting. Sounds.com, Native Instruments’ cloud based loops and samples provider has expanded and is now available in 21 new territories. You can see the full list here and also check out the latest pricing structures which now includes a free trial.

Legowelt and his Star Shepherd Synthesizer. The Star Shepherd Syntesizer is made from old guitar pedals, a small AM radio and a Casio 403 keyboard. Sadly, it’s not for sale! However, it’s still worth checking out in his video below.

Run your own nightclub. Rockstar Games are set to launch GTA Online: After Hours. Featuring Solomun, Tale Of Us, Dixon and The Black Madonna (who punches a cop in the trailer), GTA is claiming the game as a ‘dance music pardise’. Watch the trailer here.
