New and Unreleased with Joy O. UK underground hero Joy Orbison warms up for Dekmantel Festival with a two-hour session. “The first half is basically a way of showcasing producers that are doing great things at the moment and is completely made up of new, unreleased music, and the second half is basically winding things down with a load of stuff from my record collection,” he explains. DJ Zinc’s ‘Trust Me I Was There’ 1993 Jungle Mix. In chapter 26 of DJ Zinc‘s Trust Me I Was There mix series, Zinc plays the sounds that were big in the clubs nights and raves he went to and played at. The latest instalment presents some of the best sounds from the golden era of UK hardcore and jungle music, 1993. Stream and download above.

DJ Yoda’s Stranger Things Mixtape. Known for his mash-ups and mixes, DJ Yoda‘s new mixtape is inspired by the synth-led soundtrack of the hit Netflix supernatural sci-fi horror Stranger Things, as well as clips from the show and the music that inspired it, including Joy Division, Tangerine Dream and more. Stream above.

DJ Stringray’s Musical Roots. The Underground Resistance and Urban Tribe affiliated selector Sherard Ingram, aka Detroit’s heavy-hitting, balaclava-wearing electro don DJ Stingray, returns to the XLR8R podcast series to compile selections from his musical roots. “Ingram energetically tears through cold, high-tempo cuts, with a flow that few else can replicate.” Stream above, download and an interview with the artist here.
