This week: Maurice Fulton’s Loft and Paradise Garage favourites, rugged boogie from Seven Davis Jr and the ghetto-house attitude of Parris Mitchell.

Disco Boogie

Maurice Fulton takes us back. A selection of Loft and Paradise Garage favourites, spun by the multi-aliased ex-member of Baltimore’s infamous troupe ‘The Basement Boys‘ – who produced or remixed no less than Michael Jackson, Erykah Badu and Paula Abdul.

Machine In Dub. A three hour dub techno epic mixed by Kirk Degiorgio in promotion of his Machine night. Kirk will be appearing at London Electronic Music Event next month alongside the likes of Theo Parrish, Legowelt, Red D, Neville Watson and Kris Wadsworth.

Rugged, soul-infused boogie. Following an EP release on FunkinEven’s Apron Records, and ahead of his debut European tour, Seven Davis Jr presents the latest in Hyponik‘s mix series.

Ghetto-house attitude. A quick-fire session of “raw, stripped-back, fiercely libidinal bangers” with Chicago’s pioneering Dance Mania legend Parris Mitchell.

Neo-soul and RnB vibrations of the highest calibre. Haitian-born, Montreal-based DJ Kaytranada lives up to huge hype in this live recording of his set at Deviation from London’s XOYO.
