Richie Hawtin Live at Exchange LA. Legendary techno producer and DJ Richie Hawtin returns to BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix series with a live recording of his two-hour performance at Exchange LA; it’s “deep, dark and with a unique Hawtin sound from start to finish”. Kirk Degiorgio’s Earth, Wind & Fire Story. Following the death of Earth, Wind & Fire’s Maurice White this weekKirk Degiorgio draws attention to his radio show telling the story of the musical heroes with over 90 million record sales and 20 Grammy nominations to their name, spanning their discography from 1969 to 1976. Huxley’s Dummy Mix. A versatile producer and master of the DJ booth, Huxley‘s club hits and DJ weapons have found homes on labels like Aus MusicHypercolour, Tsuba and 20:20 Vision. Stream his new Dummy mix, which moves from heavy club tracks to more soothing sounds over its 90-minute duration, above, and find the track listing here.

Breach inspired by Amsterdam. Ben Westbeech gives a snapshot of his current sound in his latest Fabric promo mix. “I recorded this on vinyl at my home in Amsterdam overlooking the canals,” he explains. “It’s kind of eclectic, and I feel like that’s a reflection on my time here in Amsterdam as that’s what the music scene here is all about.” Stream above.
