Ahead of the return of Blade Runner, Boiler Room pays homage to its legacy and celebrates its future with an immersive London event, which featured sets from Hudson Mohawke, experimentalist Aïsha Devi, Blade Runner samplist Kuedo, A/V wizard Konx-om-Pax and PAN futurist and DJ Flora Yin-Wong. Pessimist’s NTS Radio Selections. Following his recent LP release via Blackest Ever Black, Bristol-based producer Pessimist performs on East London’s NTS Radio, playing a two-hour show that reveals the producer’s influences, with techno and breaks selections from Aphex Twin to The Sabres Of Paradise and Boards Of Canada. Rampage Sound at Notting Hill Carnival. A recording of the legendary Rampage Sound returning to this year’s Notting Hill Carnival, to play everything London’s come to associate with carnival: the best of classic UK hardcore, contemporary grime bangers, celebratory dancehall and R&B.
