The guilty pleasure?

The Carpenters. I was raised on them, I love that smooth shit.

The last track of the night?

Well last night it was Jimi Hendrix – ‘Castles Made Of Sand’. I prefer to bring it down in the last 10-15 minutes if it’s the end of the night. Bringing it back down is just as important as bringing it up, if people are to go home truly satisfied.

The best chillout record?

Van Morrison – Astral Weeks. It’s like a pure healing energy that just washes over you.

The record everyone loves but you hate?

I don’t wanna offend nobody. There’s a few for sure. But maybe I just don’t get them?

The soundtrack to a lazy Sunday afternoon?

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young – Déjà Vu. The best at their best. So much truth in that record. Like when I cut my hair. That was a big mistake. I should have listened to Cros.

The worst record you’ve ever heard?

Anything by Coldplay. It’s like just endless variations of the one same shitty song. Please stop.

The record you’re proudest of?

Lately, The Smoke Clears – Listen. For those who mightn’t know, it’s a downtempo effort from 2013 on Further Records. Probably the best thing I’ve done in the last 4-5 years.
