The soundtrack to a lazy Sunday afternoon?

James Blake – ‘The Wilhelm Scream’. I love the melodies, harmony and the overall drama of this track. Great to chill to.

The worst record you’ve ever heard?

DJ Bobo – ‘Chihuahua’. Seriously, do you even need to ask?

The record you’re proudest of?

‘Sombatiki’. This is one of the first tracks I ever made, in the early 2000s, and it was then released on Viva Music in 2007 so was one of their first releases also. I was and still am super proud to have produced this tune and released on such an iconic label.

The future classic?

Damian Lazarus – ‘Vermillion’ on Crosstown Rebels. Tribal, hypnotic and an amazing memorable vocal – it’s been a huge track for me this summer and one that I’m sure will be around for a long time.

Andrea Oliva plays the ANTS closing party on September 26th at Ushuaia. Find him on Facebook, Twitter and SoundCloud.

  • Nice tunes, but…

“There are too many of these to mention, especially as my heart lies in the underground.”

…did you really just say that? Dude, you’re closing the night with Donna Summer!
