“What is art? The messy clothes in my wardrobe…” Monika Kruse takes on our all-new quick-fire Q&A questions.
What are you listening to right now?
I’m listening to some new demos from Aitor Ronda while completing this interview! If the interview goes well, I might sign his tracks 😉
What did you dream about last night?
A sexy guy was cleaning my flat. Oh wait, this is a recurrent dream, not just last night!
Who’s your hero?
Prince! Sheila E! and everyone who helps other people in a time of need.
What’s the best thing you’ve ever done?
Saving a bee’s life by not swallowing it when it was swimming in my wine glass. Instead I gave her a try of a flower on my balcony instead.
What’s the secret of your success?
A smile never hurts.
Whether it’s jumping, lying on the floor, shaking my hips, raising my hands. Anything goes.
Describe your dancing style.
Just pure happiness! Whether it’s jumping, lying on the floor, shaking my hips, raising my hands. Anything goes. I just let loose!
What’s your biggest interest outside music?
I want to evolve as a human being, face my fears and spread the love.
Invent a genre to describe your music.
What’s the best thing you’ve ever heard?
“Life and love begins where fear ends.”
What don’t people know about you?
I’ll leave that to your imagination. It’s always good to have some secrets…
What is art?
The messy clothes in my wardrobe, my chaotic record collection, and not knowing it all – my system is very arty!
