Telefunken Echomixer

A little mixer with built-in spring reverb from the German brand Telefunken. As we live in Germany, we’re in contact with a lot of German gear. It’s less famous than the American and English gear but there are some great pieces like this one. The sound of this reverb is absolutely beautiful and timeless. We got it in the original box, unused.

Ace Tone Rhythm Ace FR2-L

An early drum machine, made under this name before the company became Roland. We love this one because somebody customised it to have separate outputs. The kick is so surprising for the year of production, 1967…

We love all of this unit, and have a lot of passion for what Roland has designed – this Japanese company has influenced music more than many composers.

Junost 21

A Russian synthesiser: strong, dirty, and cosmic. This is a really nice piece from the end of the 80s. We like to dig for the not-so-common pieces of gear. The Russians produced a lot of great music gear during the Soviet era. There’s still a lot to discover.

Roland SH-101

The best monophonic synth. It’s our favourite. This one offers unlimited possibilities – just get one if you can.

Ensoniq DP/4

We were looking for this multi-effect unit for a long time, since we discovered it in Nôze’s studio. We were desperately looking for it for a year, then finally Oleg Poliakov had pity on us and sold it to us. We’ve had it a few weeks, and it’s running non stop.

Roland Chorus Echo RE-501

This is also a legendary piece. We discovered it many years ago as teenagers hanging out in dub studios and we always loved its very special colour. The delays are insane – it’s a love story between us and the Space Echo. We love touching her knobs, and we can spend a lot of time just watching her tape rolling!
