Who are you?

Hi, my name is Alexandre Paounov and I’m a French guy with Eastern origins. I was born in a musical environment because of my father, who was a bassist in a rock band. Today, I am an electronic music artist touring all over the world.

What do you sound like?

My music is always evolving and at the moment I’m in a groovy techno mood when I’m DJing. In my studio I’m more in a housey mood, working with a singer.

Why should we listen to you?

Because I’m super fun to listen to! You can listen to ‘Serenity’ or my ‘Sunglasses At Night’ remix… Or ‘Alcoolik’, ‘Electrik Circus’… Just check out my SoundCloud!

What have you released so far? What else have you got coming out in the near future?

Next step is my album, soon to be released on Hot Creations. It’s a kind of new style of music for me, with a housey mood and vocals. I have a lot a tracks ready for 2015.

What song sums you up? Why?

It cannot be just one. There are lots of good songs, like the classic ‘Show Me Love’.

What or who is your biggest influence and why?

I have a lot of different influences but jazz music is really important for me because of the infinite evolution of the music. It never stops evolving.

Where can we hear your music?

Just Google Popof!

Where will you be in five years’ time?

I would love to know! Maybe back to my roots.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself.

Ask my manager!
