Johann Johannsson’s Tragic Passing. Oscar, BAFTA and Grammy-nominated musician and composer, Iceland’s Johann Johannsson, whose acclaimed scores are known for blending electronic and classical orchestration, and who won a Golden Globe in 2015 for his score to the Stephen Hawking biopic, has tragically died aged 48.
