New and Unreleased with Joy Orbison. Joy Orbison describes his new Dekmantel podcast: “The first half is basically a way of showcasing producers that are doing great things at the moment and is completely made up of new, unreleased music, and the second half is basically winding things down with a load of stuff from my record collection. Jamie xx and Floating Points’ NTS Mix. Esteemed producers and selectors Jamie xx and Floating Points join London’s NTS Radio for a colourful two-hour session that’s topped MixCloud’s house and soul charts, featuring music from a range of genres, with tracks from legendary jazz trumpeter Freddie HubbardArmand Van HeldenHortense Ellis, and many more. J Dilla: Back To The Crib Mixtape. An unheard J Dilla mixtape from 2000 emerges via Boiler Room as BBE Records readies their release of the legendary Detroit producer’s posthumously completed album The Shining on 7″ for the first time. It’s a “fly-on-the-wall showing of what Jay Dee had blaring out of his speakers while on the sofa or by the MPC”. Stream above.

100 Years of Women in Electronic Music. An hour-long mix featuring 60 years of electronic music from around 50 pioneering female artists, featuring work from M.I.A., Laetitia Sonami, Else Marie Pade, Maryanne Amacher, Kyoka and others, based on a research commissioned by Club Transmediale Berlin. Stream above.
