French hard techno artist OMAKS has launched his own label, ENERGIC, kicking things off with an explosive debut single, Morning Rave, in collaboration with long-time inspiration VORTEK’S.
OMAKS has built a reputation as one of France’s most uncompromising rave exports. Since his 2019 debut, he’s taken his sound global — dropping club weapons like Back Street Bass and 2022’s 5AM EP, and in 2023 releasing a new track every month.
Based in Lyon and originally from Paris, Omaks is known for his high-energy sets and razor-sharp productions. He’s had standout releases like 5AM and Talking About Techno on Neo Records and backed it up with performances at major venues including Warehouse Elementenstraat and Verknipt Festival.
ENERGIC, officially teased on March 5, is more than just a record label. Described by OMAKS as a “360° platform” for artists, it’s a movement designed to channel the raw spirit of old-school techno into something built for the future. Part label, part collective energy, ENERGIC aims to create spaces where genre boundaries blur and the dancefloor becomes a shared expression of intensity and freedom.
Its debut release, Morning Rave, released on March 28, sets the tone. A no-holds-barred blend of OMAKS’s driving low-end and VORTEK’S signature acid and mental techno textures, the track is both a throwback to rave’s roots and a step into a wilder, more untamed future.
With more releases and artist-led activities to come, ENERGIC promises to be a home for those seeking something harder, faster, and deeper in the electronic underground.
