James Holden’s ‘Hello Terry Riley’ Performance Tools. Traxmag finds out the five essential tools of experimentalist musician James Holden‘s live homage to minimalist composer Terry Riley. The tools include Monomes, tablas, a modular synthesiser, a map and magic stones. ‘Hello Terry Riley’ will be performed at MARATHON! Red Bull Studios Celebrate 5th Birthday with Unique Events. Celebrating five years of projects, people and parties, Red Bull Studios London are opening ballots to attend a series of unique celebratory opportunities, including Studio Science with Disclosure, during which the Disclosure brothers will offer an intimate technical insight into their album recording and studio processes in a unique workshop. Find out more and enter here.

UVI Release New Hybrid Synth Falcon. UVI has released a new hybrid synthesiser, named Falcon. It’s a fully featured virtual instrument, “with 15 oscillators covering both synthesis and sampling techniques, over 80 effects, extensive modulation control and more.” It’s available now at an introductory price of $229, until November 9, 2015.
