David Mancuso, DJ and dance culture pioneer, 1944-2016. David Mancuso has died at the age of 72. To celebrate the groundbreaking DJ’s life and legacy, the Guardian explore his influence and appeal to the dance music community. After founding The Loft, an establishment regarded as the first underground dance party, Mancuso’s importance is hard to overestimate. Check out the feature here.

Danish headphone makers AIAIAI launch Kickstarter campaign. The new H05 is a headband that adds wireless connectivity to the company’s TMA-2 modular headphones via Bluetooth.
