A Classic Oneohtrix Point Never Fact Mix. Fact return to electronic composer Daniel Lopatin aka Oneohtrix Point Never’s classic mix, made just after he’d released Returnal on Editions Mego in 2010. He described it as “slowed down 6%, bounced down to tape and loads of compression”, and that it “sounds like codeine. Just a bunch of jams I like at the moment”. Stream and download above.

Discwoman Serena Jara’s Mix For “Scary Girls”. Discwoman present their first mix of 2017, courtesy of Brooklyn DJ Serena Jara, who explains: “I wanted to make something for other weird abrasive scary girls who feel pathologized by the world.” She selects from industrial music, early 2000s hardstyle, breakbeats and “bitchy” female vocals, with some more sensitive feelings. Stream above, track listing here.

Benedikt Frey – ‘The Endless and Impossible Journey Home.’ Underground house label Creme Organization‘s latest podcast sees German producer and DJ Benedikt Frey, founder of the label Love, Pain, Sunshine & Rain, playing an hour-long session that effortlessly progresses from psychedelic breaks through to dark wave techno. LCO’s Solid Steel Selections. In this Solid Steel radio show, one of the UK’s most innovative and respected ensembles, the London Contemporary Orchestra plays an hour of fascinating electronic and acoustic tracks from Jonny Greenwood, Four Tet and Grischa Lichtenberger. “The playlist mainly focuses on muscular rhythm, metric modulations and displacement.” Stream and download above, track listing here.
