Ehua for DJ Mag. Fresh from releasing the excellent Diplozoon EP on the femme culture imprint, Ehua drops by for the latest in DJ Mag’s Fresh Kick podcast series. Fresh Kicks is focused on shedding light on new talent, Ehua fitting the bill perfectly with her unique blend of Moombahton influenced house and breakbeats.
Loefah for The Lot Radio. NY radio station The Lot held a residency in a shop front in Times Square for the month of December, during which they hosted guest mixes from the likes of Four Tet, Bradley Zero and Quantic (all of which are available on their Soundcloud). This hour long mix by Loefah demonstrates the Londoners discerning taste for post-dubstep beats, breaks and bass.
DJ Caspa for USB Sessions. Manchester collective USB Sessions throw regular events and live streams, providing a platform for up and coming underground talent. Only a couple of episodes into their podcasts series and they’re already flying, with London based DJ Caspa taking up the mantle for the latest instalment, dropping a choice mix of deep and techy house cuts.
Avalon Emerson for Mutek. Recorded live from Mutek in Mexico City, Avalon Emerson demonstrates her dexterity behind the decks in this 2 hour slot, effortlessly mixing up house, techno and jungle-infused breakbeats.
Bogdan Dražić for Digital Tsunami. Responsible for regular events in both London and Lithuania, including the annual rave in a forest known as DT Camp, Digital Tsunami keep up the pace with their latest mix from Bogdan Dražić. The Londoner has enjoyed recent releases on imprints such as Trilogy Tapes & Giallo Disco, flexing his eclectic tastes in this 2 hour mash up of downbeat electro, disco and house.
