This week’s top mixes include Dexter Crowe for 8day, NTS resident Aqwea for Boileroom and Tycho at Burning Man.

Dexter Crowe for 8day. With a show on When We Dip radio for Ibiza Sonica, Montreal based Dexter Crowe provides a mix full of afro house, tribal percussions, flutes and steel drums. Kicking off with a laid back Balearic vibe, the 90 minute mix moves through deep house, tech and techno along the way.

Darin Epsilon Balance Series. Perspectives Digital head honcho Darin Epsilon spent weeks putting together his mix for the Balance Series, not only listening to thousands of demo tracks but he also wrote a couple of brand new numbers specifically for the podcast. Over 80 mins, he showcases his love for all things melodic and progressive.

Resident Aqwea for Boiler Room. NTS resident, Aqwea, provides a set for Boiler Room at Somerset House Studios. Streamed live on Boiler Room (below), this an eclectic mix of jazzy drum and bass, hip-hop and afro-beat with plenty of vocals peppered throughout.

Dr. Rubinstein’s Fact Magazine Mix. A lot more chilled than some of her other techno sets, this is a dreamy journey through breakbeat acid, electro and wonky melodics.

Tycho at Burning Man. Straight from the dust is Tycho’s Sunrise DJ Set on The Dusty Rhino at Burning Man Festival. This one includes everything from chill out, synthwave, mellow house, breakbeats, drum and bass and more.
