The guaranteed floor-filler?

For the past few months this has definitely been Locked Groove’s remix of Duke Dumont – ‘The Giver’. That rimshot pattern bores into your brain, then the bassline just destroys.

The last track of the night?

I find myself listening to Pete Heller – ‘Big Love’ quite often… I’m too young to have memories of it, but it’s just full of joy and energy.

The soundtrack to a lazy Sunday afternoon?

This is an incredibly obvious choice but Air – Talkie Walkie. Beautiful album. ‘Alone in Kyoto’ is lovely.

The record you’re proudest of?

I’m very happy with my new single ‘Everytime’. It was a bit of a risk for me and I was trying something I hadn’t before. There’s even more exciting stuff to come on my forthcoming album.

The future classic?

Marcus Marr – ‘The Music’.  He’s taken classic disco sounds and updated the format in just the right way, resulting in a true epic.

‘Everytime’ is out now on Heartbeats Records. Find Grum on Facebook, Twitter and SoundCloud.
