With London Electronic Music Event fast on the approach, LEME HQ have announced a selection of new electronic producers and industry speakers, bringing further punch to a line-up which will provide copious wisdom to aspiring and established producers.

Known for his expansive and reflective ideas on production and the rich cultural and philosophical history of music-making, Theo Parrish’s keynote on Sunday will be a rare insight into his genius. Also added to the line-up is techno stalwart Kirk Degiorgio, who will be bringing two decades of production experience to his In The Studio masterclass. Meanwhile Greymatter and Mr Beatnick will compare and contrast production techniques in The Art of Sampling session.

As well as technical tips and production masterclasses, the weekend will be an opportunity for leading producers, industry figureheads and LEME delegates to reflect on the state of electronic music today. Red D of house duo FCL will join Neville Watson to discuss What is Underground And Does It Matter? and The Sound of Things to Come debate on Sunday will no doubt be a heated discussion around people’s hopes, fears and predictions for the future of electronic music.

New industry speakers include Beatport, Juno Records and boutique record store If Music. The Meet The Managers session, where delegates can seek advice from pioneering artist managers, will feature Grant Heinrich from X Agency and Ben Start from Secretsundaze’s Secret Agency.

Lest we forget, there will be respite from the vast knowledge absorption during the day in the form of pre and after parties in the evenings, including a live performance from gear head Legowelt on Saturday night. Fresh from crafting his next album Crystal Cult 2080, Wolfers is sure to deliver a unique and original live show.

In its third year, LEME has established itself as an essential fixture in producers’ calendars. Attack will be there in force.

Tickets are available from the LEME website. A full weekend pass is £60 and day tickets start from just £10.
