Mr Oizo’s ‘Flat Beat’ Plagiarised. Italian EDM duo Nari and Milani are facing accusations of plagiarism as listeners accuse their new single ‘Triangle’ of being a little too close to French producer Mr Oizo‘s 1999 track ‘Flat Beat’ for comfort. Oizo was not impressed either: “Good promo plan for cheap: copy a classic tune and put it out like it’s yours. also don’t forget to look douchee.” Previews of ‘Triangle’ have been removed from YouTube and SoundCloud but a copy remains archived here. 24-hour parties at London’s Studio Spaces. The Hydra‘s new three-room venue – East London’s Studio Spaces E1 – has been allowed to open for 24 hours on a total of 40 occasions in 2015, having been granted 20 extensions and an additional 20 TENs (Temporary Event Notices) by Tower Hamlets Council. “Great attention to detail has been placed with liaising with our neighbours and meeting the authorities requirements for a licensed premises,” assured the operators. Ultra Music Festival Co-Founder Found Dead. One of the most influential members of the clubbing and festival circuit in Miami has died aged 43, according to reports. Alex Omes was a co-founder of the world famous Ultra Music Festival, which was founded in 1999 and has since expanded in nine different countries worldwide. The cause of death is still unknown.
