What’s the first record you ever bought?

I think it was the Elton John single ‘I’m Still Standing’. I was only six, but what a souvenir from that time! And the video was really strange too. Look at this weird clip below…

The first time you remember hearing electronic music?

‘Throw’ by Paperclip People, and it absolutely blew my mind. At the time I was a punk addict, and I never thought this sort of music would grab me. But grab me it most definitely did.

Your favourite ever record?

I always pick Ada’s ‘Lucky Charm’ on Areal Records. The melody, the arrangement, the whole track is magic…

The last track of the night?

The last track of the night is Paolo Conte’s ‘Via Con Me’. Why? Because it’s perfect for making love and ending a good night.

The best chillout record?

For me, Kid Loco’s album, A Grand Love Story. Perfect for doing the garden or relaxing with an excellent glass of white wine.
